Around the World in 80 Coffeeships

Dear Jane (not John--this is not a break-up letter),

Forgive me for my absences...I have been traveling backwards in time purely to pursue scientific interests. Learning has become god to me, and I have had no time for personal interests with previous friends (distractions, I mean).

This change of heart has been combined with my newest entrepreneural move of coffeeships traversing around the world. Unfortunately, my wireless connection is invariably horrendous; perhaps this is due to my fleet's constant flux of time and of location.

We have been very successful in our business, what with the exotic and ethnic foods from different timeperiods--not to mention the hot drinks! Often we are paid in bars of gold, shells, or venison. Dealing with currency has been quite an issue for us.

But really, I am a very free spirit. I have a lot of help, and usually have no idea what is going on around me; one of our most recent travelers is a fellow by the name of Euripides. We converse on so many different levels (of the ship), in Greek...often we lose track of time (that IS always an issue).

I have put Camilla in management, because she seems to be a very successful person. Apparently she did have some stint with the Amazons a while back, but "That's old hat now," she says...

Anyway, I'm sure I'll lose this connection any moment,
