Jane walked on the deck,
Silence.
Jane went to the ship's zoo,
Silence.
All Jane could here was her own footsteps on the boards of the ship. Ever since Ellen joined another ship, (see http://janeandellen.blogspot.com/2008/11/around-world-in-80-coffeeships.html) things had not been the same. All she could think of was: the letter, and Ellen. Previous friends??? "DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?!" Jane yelled to no one in particular. She then,decided she would look for her comrade. She pirated a nearby town that had a reputation for exceptional cookies and shortbread. After that, she set sail, "maybe she will come back as my first mate again!" She thought, as she fed the emus. "I really hope she will forgive me, whatever I've done." And so, she sailed into the blue, thinking of the long journey ahead of her.
And so it was.
