THE INTERNET ll

Part two:

She looked.

How?

"Know all the questions but never the answers." -The Changeling by Zilpha Keatly Snyder.

"If you were wondering what I did on Saturdays..." said Jane, looking at Ellen's stunned face.
A cabinet slid into the floor where Jane had kicked.
A door.
Small, but big enough.
Carved into the birch door, were the words: "Expect to be surprised"
Ellen grinned, leaving her fantasy thoughts. "Thats just like you." she sighed, looking at Jane. "Oh, but isn't it?" Jane sighed, stroking the door. "Shall we open the door? Instead of looking at it?" Ellen said, looking at Jane. "Come on then!" Jane said. Jane opened the door, and Ellen gasped. "Hello, Ellen." The room was empty. "Who was that?" Ellen said. "Anna. My Mac." Said Jane, smiling. "Oh..." Ellen said, looking about the room. The first thought that hit her head was "Bat cave!" Computers and Televisions lined the walls. In the far corner was a thing that looked like the transporter in Star Trek. Jane and Ellen walked over to it. "This is it." said Jane. "This is... What?" sighed Ellen, who had clearly not watched enough Star Trek. "This is the thing that will get us into the internet." said Jane. "Well, lets go then!" said Ellen. They got onto the circles on the launch pad. "Beam us in, Anna!" Jane yelled. And then they were gone.

To be continued.....
